If you have heard a medical term, phrase, acronym, etc., that you're not sure of, there's a site you might want to check out called SlangRN.com. Items are well categorized by the "latest" "top slang" and "random". There's also an alphabetized list and a tab for anyone to add to the ever growing list.

Thanks for the interest in the Site, Kathy! I just happened to stumble upon your blog and I love it. As a wannabe writer myself--an admitted novice at best--I envy your career. My parents, while not octogenarians yet, will be approaching retirement soon, so if I should ever seek council as to how I can properly manage their aging, I'll be sure to grab your book.
Cheers,
Mick
This is a great site, I will have to blog about it sometime too. Mick how did you come up with the idea for it?
